Every year, a number of people come to Arizona representing themselves as licensed Contractors when in fact they are not. Some intend to criminally separate you from your money.
It's EASY to check the status of someone claiming to be an Arizona Licensed Contractor.
Click HERE to visit the Arizona Registrar of Contractors website and check the license status of an Arizona Contractor. You'll be able to see if there have been any complaints filed against the Contractor, how many complaints are still open, and how many were resolved.
You'll be happy to know that the Registrar of Contractors is VERY consumer friendly. It's easy to contact them and they offer excellent customer service.
TIP:
Contact the ROC and ask them to send you a copy of their booklet "Workmanship Standards." It's a booklet with all the acceptable standards for construction in Arizona. Then you will know when something was built properly and when you should ask your builder to make corrections.
